Pastor Ron Shaw

At the age of 18, Ron Shaw accepted God’s call to enter into ministry at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, one of Dallas’ long-standing African-American churches. During his early years, Ron Shaw attended undergraduate studies at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, and the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. Later, he expanded his studies at Bishop College to focus primarily on philosophy and religion.

With the ability to communicate life applications through biblical principles using his own brand of creativity, wit, and inspiration, Ron Shaw has spearheaded programs that effectively promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has incorporated Leadership Development, Personal Gift Discovery and Development, and Ministry of Helps training curriculum that continue to help individuals to discover and answer the call of God on their lives.

“Most Christians have not discovered who they are, how God made them, or what He has designed them to accomplish.  So they spend their lives frustrated and unhappy.  For over 30 years, I have taught believers how to discover God’s great plan for their lives, and how to increase and release their buried potential. My goal is to continue using simple, practical illustrations to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and help them make these discoveries.”

Ron is married to Veda and they have two children, Jason and Angel.
